Our Ministry Checkup helps churches plan for ongoing ministry by identifying areas of potential risk or conflict, reviewing policies and procedures, and helping churches develop and strategize for the implementation of a Biblically based vision for local church ministry.
Church and Pastor Advocate Dan Nave has over 40 years of local church leadership experience that includes serving as Associate Pastor (Lowell MI), Senior Pastor (Sand Lake MI), and the founding pastor of two church plants (Indiana and Tennessee). He was the Training Director for a church planting agency, participated in Christian camping organization and leadership, mentored 11 interns, developed a church consulting ministry, and has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles in IFCA Int., a non-denominational church/pastor's fellowship.
In addition, Dan has lay-ministry experience in virtually all areas of local church ministry, having spent the first 15 years of adult life in a secular job and serving in his local church. Dan also has building trade experience, which provides a level of expertise in church facility layout and management.
In 2014, he started Southeast Church Extension as a ministry that “facilitates the movement of struggling churches toward spiritual growth and facilitates the movement of healthy churches toward Biblical church reproduction”.
Both Dan and Judy married their teenage sweethearts and ultimately served those mates as long-term caregivers before being widowed. They met at a ministry conference and were married in 2023. Judy is an APC Board Certified and IFCA Int. endorsed Chaplain and provides a special feature to ministry.
